The horizontal destoner HD has been designed to separate, stones and foreign bodies from tubers (carots, potatoes, beets, etc. by gravity.
The product is conveyed from the water flume along the slide of the destoner.
The tubers float in the trap by counter flow water circulation and they are conveyed to the machine outlet.
The foreign bodies that are heavier than the tubers sink to the bottom of the collecting tank from where they are removed by the continuous belt filter.
The water pump recycles the water continuously.
