Pellets Frying Line

The Pellet Frying Lines produced by GEA Levati Food Tech have been designed to obtain high-quality products both for their appearance and for their organoleptic characteristics. 
Product processing takes full advantage of the special features of each machine in the line to achieve the final result.

All processing phases have been specifically designed to function automatically and to preserve the physical and organoleptic properties of the fried pellet.
The frying process, which is the most important part of the process itself, is carried out using a frying tank.
Two belt conveyors, equipped with special sleepers and placed inside the tank, advance the product so that the best frying conditions will be achieved consistently.
It is possible to obtain the oil heating with three different systems:

  1. external heat exchanger, functioning with electric resistances;
  2. boiler for direct heating of the vegetable oil;
  3. external heat exchanger, functioning with diathermic oil previously heated with a boiler.

The quality of the oil is always excellent thanks to the continuos oil filtering. For this reason a special filter has been inserted in the circuit.

To facilitate the cleaning operation as well as all maintenance interventions, the machine has been specially designed in such a way that it can be opened and inspected.
Special draining systems reduce the fat content to ensure a wholesome final product.
